Role Overview
As a Data Engineer at Aurexillion, you will design, build, and maintain modern data pipelines, cloud data platforms, and analytics foundations for AI, automation, and enterprise software projects. You will integrate data from multiple sources, improve data quality, support cloud data architecture, and help clients turn raw data into usable business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
- Develop ELT/ETL workflows that collect, transform, validate, and load data from multiple sources.
- Integrate data from APIs, databases, SaaS tools, cloud services, and third-party systems.
- Build and optimize data models for analytics, reporting, dashboards, and AI-powered applications.
- Work with cloud data warehouses, databases, and modern data platforms.
- Implement data quality checks, validation rules, monitoring, and error-handling processes.
- Support data infrastructure for AI/ML, LLM, RAG, and automation workflows.
- Collaborate with software engineers, AI engineers, product teams, and client stakeholders.
- Improve performance, reliability, security, and maintainability of data workflows.
- Write clean, well-documented SQL and Python code.
- Participate in code reviews, technical planning, and architecture discussions.
- Help define best practices for data engineering, governance, and cloud-based delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
- Strong experience with Python and SQL.
- Hands-on experience building production-grade ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Azure Synapse.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data transformation, and data quality.
- Experience working with APIs, batch processing, and data integrations.
- Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Airflow, Prefect, Dagster, or similar.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, Docker, and modern software engineering practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English at C1 level or higher.
- Comfortable working remotely with distributed teams.
Technology Stack
- Python, SQL, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Azure Synapse.
- AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Airflow, Prefect, Dagster, dbt.
- Docker, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, REST APIs, vector databases, BI and analytics tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with dbt for data modeling and transformation.
- Experience with streaming or messaging systems such as Kafka, Pub/Sub, or Event Hubs.
- Experience supporting AI/ML pipelines, vector databases, embeddings, or RAG systems.
- Experience with Terraform or infrastructure-as-code.
- Experience with data governance, privacy, security, compliance, or access control.
- Experience building analytics dashboards or supporting BI tools.
- Experience working on SaaS, enterprise software, fintech, healthcare, e-commerce, or automation platforms.
- Previous consulting or client-facing project experience.
